Message from the C.E.O
“COVID-19 has momentarily altered how we live, but will never change what’s important, like the need for quality education. Find out how our Continued Learning Program bridges the gap all through this out-of-school period.
Today, as a species we face a common enemy coronavirus (COVID-19) which has grown to pandemic level. We are optimistic that we can and will conquer this as we have of others before it. The COVID-19 pandemic has in no small measure impacted our daily lives at work and at home.
As an organisation dedicated to innovation, education and self-development, it is of paramount importance to us that learners (grade 1-12) continue their academic education in spite of the prevailing circumstances.
To this end, we have created The Continued Learning program ( #learningcontinues ) which would provide an alternative for classroom learning.
We are excited to know that we can contribute in our own little way. Remember to keep safe and adhere to best practices so that we can fix this together.
Sincerely,
Ruth Ukwen K.
CEO Abacus.
Continued Learning Program
The scourge of the Coronavirus pandemic has necessitated that school age kids (and even their parents) stay at home to reduce their being exposed to an accidental contact with an infected person. This is the only known measure yet that reduces vulnerability.
Enter the Abacus Continued Learning Program designed to continue your child’s academic development from where the school left off.The program offers targeted classes for grades 1 to 12.
This program transports your child from the confines of your home every day to our virtual classroom, where they can learn and interact with their teacher, ask questions and get answers in real time, make and meet new friends from everywhere across the country, courtesy of the program’s special extra-curricular features.
When you register your child to the program, he/she will join the appropriate grade class to continue learning with their peers.
